Notice is hereby given that the 44th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Singapore Actuarial Society will be held on:

AGENDA FOR AGM

1. To confirm the minutes of the 43rd Annual General Meeting held on March 29, 2019
2. Matters arising from the minutes of the 43rd Annual General Meeting
3. To receive the Honorary Secretary's Report
4. To receive and approve the audited Statement of Accounts for the year ended December 31, 2019
5. To elect the Council to serve for the period 2020-21
6. To elect two Honorary Auditors for the period 2020-21
7. To approve the proposed constitutional amendments
8. To consider any other matters not included in this Notice, of which 14 days' notice must be given in writing to the Honorary Secretary.

Given the COVID-19 situation, this year AGM will follow the minimum requirements imposed by the SAS Constitution and will be held in the SAS Office. In line with the Constitution, where no quorum has been reached within 30 minutes of the start of the AGM, the meeting will proceed, except that no amendments to the Constitution can be made. The usual Pre-AGM forum, Volunteers Appreciation Dinner and SAS Fellowship Ceremony will be held later this year, once the situation comes back to normal. We would like to also request to all members, that if you are feeling unwell, please refrain from attending the meeting.

Completed proxy votes should be sent to Clarice at clarice@actuaries.org.sg by noon on Friday March 27, to allow her time to collate the forms.

Please note that we will be providing the members with an opportunity to attend the AGM remotely, through Skype. The details of the same will be shared in the following weeks.
