Dear students,
Preparing for your actuarial internship this coming summer? Worried about not having the required skills? We got your back.
The Singapore Actuarial Society Education and Career Committee (SAS ECC) will be holding our inaugural Excel Training Course to prepare you to EXCEL@Work. This course will be taught by actuarial professionals, who will guide you first-hand on the required Excel skills used by actuaries day to day. The course is targeted at students who have very basic knowledge or new to Excel and are motivated to pick up these fundamental skills to excel at their internship/work. A certificate of participation will be provided at the end of the course subject to conditions.

FAQ
Can I still participate if I am not a SAS member yet?
- We have only made this course available to SAS members. If you are not a member yet, the course would be $70, which consists of $40 course fee and $30 student membership fee.
- However, you can still proceed with the registration. In this case, you would need to pay $70 ($40 course fee and $30 student membership fee) during registration. Note that after registering for the course, you MUST submit the completed student application form to membership@actuaries.org.sg

What are the conditions to earn the Certificate of Completion?
- Participants will need to attend 4 out of the 5 sessions and submit the required course-work at the end of the course by the deadline.
How will the session be conducted?
- The session will be conducted on zoom by 2 professionals. We aim to keep the class size small to allow for greater interaction, participation and close guidance. The lecturers will try to incorporate various best practices and personal tips through the course.
