What this session covers
Make your vote count and support the Constitution changes at the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) scheduled on 18 May 2021, 4.30pm.
In light of the recent developments, the EGM to approve the Constitution changes will be held virtually and members can vote by proxy.
Taking guidance from the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures)(Alternative Arrangements for Meetings for Registered Societies) Order 2020 (the “Alternative Arrangements Order”) registered proxy votes will be able to count for quorum for the EGM and for voting on changes to the Constitution.
All SAS members (including non-voting members) are invited to join the EG by registering here.
We encourage Fellows and Associates who wish to vote on the constitutional changes, to submit their proxy forms (ideally with the Chair of the EGM as proxy – but the decision as to how the Chair should vote in relation to your proxy vote should be specified on your proxy form).
In addition to the EGM, an Afternoon Talk will be open to all SAS members to join virtually. This is intended to help members achieve their professional development hours.
This session is aimed at
-
SAS members who intend to virtually attend the EGM on 18 May 2021
-
SAS members who wish to participate in the Afternoon Talk. This option is only available virtually.
Pricing: Free for SAS members
