We are pleased to have David Maneval for this pre-AGM afternoon forum on IFRS 17.
Synopsis: The C-suite doesn’t seem to be clear on where an IFRS 17 engine fits in relation to existing systems and processes. It can however have a material impact on time, expenses and ultimately success of the implementation of the Standards. After introducing what IFRS 17 means on the long run, David will talk about how Actuaries can help insurers and reinsurers bridge the knowledge gap, make appropriate choices and perhaps start actual implementation today.
About the speaker: David Maneval is a qualified actuary and the Head of General Insurance Consulting for Willis Towers Watson in South East Asia. Next to his role of signing actuary, he has been helping clients on their IFRS 17 journey.
