The ERM Committee is pleased to invite you to the SAS ERM Emerging Risk Conference on 23 April 2026.
This conference brings together actuarial and risk professionals to explore some of the most significant emerging risks shaping the future of the insurance and financial services industries. The session will feature expert presentations and discussions on evolving risk landscapes and the implications for enterprise risk management.
This year’s programme will include three presentations focusing on key emerging risk themes:
- Cyber
- Autonomous Vehicles
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
The event will be held in person at the Swiss Re Singapore office. Attendees joining in person will also have the opportunity to network with fellow professionals over drinks after the session.

Cheryl Tang | Senior Cyber Underwriter, Vice President, CUO | P&C Reinsurance
Cheryl Tang is a Senior Cyber Underwriter for APAC at Swiss Re, based in Singapore. She joined Swiss Re in 2025 and is responsible for cyber reinsurance underwriting across all markets in the Asia Pacific region.
Cheryl brings extensive experience across both reinsurance and insurance, having held cyber underwriting and broking roles at Munich Re, Allianz, and Howden. With a broad perspective across the cyber insurance value chain and regional market expertise, she plays a key role in supporting Swiss Re’s cyber underwriting strategy and delivering innovative solutions to clients in an evolving risk landscape.

Giv Kahrom | Head Cyber APAC & Regional Market | Swiss Re
As the Head of Regional Markets at Swiss Re, Giv brings a wealth of expertise cultivated over a decade dedicated to the cyber insurance industry. He began his cyber journey as the Head of Cyber and Professional Indemnity at AIG, where he laid the groundwork for innovative insurance solutions for European markets. He then advanced his career at Munich Re in Singapore, specializing in cyber insurance for the Asia-Pacific region for over five years.
Now at Swiss Re, Giv leads all markets outside of the US and UK, driving the development of robust cyber treaty strategies and comprehensive, client-centric solutions tailored to diverse regional needs. He earned his Master’s in Finance from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and complemented his studies with IT courses, solidifying his academic foundation in both finance and technology.
Gloria Lo | Risk Management | Tokio Marine Asia
Gloria is an actuary with over a decade of experience across general insurance actuarial and risk management roles. She currently leads the Risk Management Department at Tokio Marine Asia, covering enterprise risk management, capital modelling, stress testing, strategic risk management, emerging risks, etc. Previously, she was an active member of the Motor Centre of Excellence, supporting head office initiatives in innovation and strategic activities for motor pricing and underwriting.

Thibault Imbert | Principal | Munich Re Insurance Consulting
After 8 years in primary insurance, holding various positions related to actuarial functions, he joined Munich Re in 2018, as part of their Consulting Unit.
Thibault is strongly committed to advancing the insurance industry, by supporting both established players and innovative Insurtechs . He led several innovative projects in the industry in various geographies and across the whole insurance value chain.
His main expertise lies in product development and pricing, starting from the initial product launch considerations until long-term portfolio steering and performance monitoring. Thibault holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and a Master of Science in Actuarial Science

Jennifer Yong | Founder | NatureEdge
Jennifer Yong works on climate risk and reinsurance analytics through NatureEdge, focusing on helping businesses structure data, assess climate exposure, and design financial solutions to manage climate-related risks. She is an actuary with over two decades of experience in reinsurance pricing, catastrophe risk, and enterprise risk management across Asia-Pacific. Her work spans property, marine, casualty, and catastrophe lines, supporting underwriting and portfolio decisions.
Previously, she led regional reinsurance pricing at AXA XL Re, working on treaty structures across Asia, including parametric and multi-line programs. She has also held roles at Sompo International and Aon Benfield, advising on catastrophe modelling, capital efficiency, and reinsurance strategy.
Her current focus includes climate risk, ESG considerations, and practical risk transfer approaches, as well as how data and AI can help detect early signals of extreme weather. Jennifer is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA).
Devin Tey | Founder & CEO | FlorishingOps
A season reinsurance actuary with over two decades of experience in high stakes risk management, financial modeling, and strategic Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). He holds advanced credentials from NUS (Ai System), TsingHwa (Statictics) and NTU(Math).
