Job Description:

• Learn about the general (re)insurance industry
• Handle reinsurance pricing tools
• Clean and compare data as losses, premium and sum insured
• Conduct pricing pre-analysis
• Communicate your findings to Underwriters and Actuaries
• Work with a global team based in Europe and Asia (Underwriters and pricing Actuaries)
• Be involved in the business renewal of over a hundred reinsurance contracts by supporting the worldwide front office
• Be embedded in the pricing and underwriting

(2) L&H Intern (Contract)

Location: Singapore

Job Description:

The role provides the opportunity for exposure to a wide variety of products. You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the development of our pricing team and the wider enhancement of PartnerRe’s Life & Health propositions.

You will be responsible for performing actuarial pricing exercises and supporting the deal underwriter in preparing responses to tenders. This typically involves carrying out actuarial analyses, proposing and owning assumptions, and providing technical expertise.

In detail, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing and documenting the pricing of quotes across responsible markets while ensuring compliance to internal standards, thorough risk assessment and application of best practice
• Developing, enhancing and maintaining pricing benchmarks, tools and efficient methods of carrying out existing processes
• Working closely with internal stakeholders in pricing initiatives and allocated projects
