SAS Professional Standards
Please note that all Fellow and Associate members of the SAS are required to submit 20 hours of CPD records for every calendar year.
The constitution was amended and approved at our extra-ordinary meeting of the SAS held on 25 March 2011.
Please refer to the amended SAS Professional Standards 1 (“PS1”) below.
You can submit your CPD hours online following these steps:
Please access the CPD module online by logging into the SAS website.
1) Click on Edit Profile.
2) Click on the Edit tab that appears.
3) Click on the CPD Hours tab that appears and scroll down to click on Enter CPD Hours.
4) After entering all your hours, go to the CPD Declarations tab and make your declaration.
Note: There is no need to select the Year in the tab CPD Hours. The selection of the Year is to view your CPD hours entered.
Example:
if a Fellow or Associate is unable to demonstrate the required number of CPD hours in the previous calendar year (year 2014) will result in a downgrade of your membership status on 1 April of the following year (year 2016). Please refer to the SAS PS1 section 6 for more information.
